Anyway, Jesse Wood (AKA Ronnie Wood's son) asked the mother of his ten-month-old son, Rex, to marry him on Sunday and she got around to announcing it last night. Well, they're allowed keep somethings for themselves to enjoy for a while, you know, before everyone just starts harping on about "THE RING! Show us the size of your ring!" Very rude.
Taking to her twitter, Fearne posted the below:
Jesse's half-sister Leah Wood (Jo Wood is her mum, you see, while Krissy Findlay is Jesse's mum. Krissy was Ronnie's first wife. Hard to keep up, innit) was quick to congratulate Fearne, tweeting: "@Fearnecotton well we have a COTTONWOOD in the family!! Welcome we are all thrilled!! (sic)"
The pair started dating in 2011 and got pregnant pretty much immediately, so hence Fearne was badgered with the "So, is marriage on the cards?" question. She most recently came across with the following: "I'd love to get married and I'm sure Jesse would too, but we don't have any plans yet. We're so hectic with a baby and two other kids (Jesse's two children 11-year-old Arthur and 7-year-old Lola), and we're both working. I think it's important to feel like a family unit though."
When she said that, I thought "Yikes, that's brave of her", what with him already been married (her name was Tilly). I'd never have the balls to announce that I'm sure someone would like to marry me. And that's probably why I'm not married.
