Tormund is one of the best minor characters on Game Of Thrones, and his 'banter' with The Hound was one of the highlights of this week's episode.
The character is played by Norwegian actor, Kristofer Hivju, who stands out for his glorious red beard. Although he looks like a man who was born with a full face and head of hair, there was a time when he was clean shaven.
These photos of a young Kristofer have just surfaced on the internet, showing a baby faced Tormond doing his best catalogue model pose.
Before getting cast on Game of Thrones, Kristofer had a supporting role in Will and Jaden Smith film After Earth where he sported a much shorter and better groomed beard.
To be honest, we like his wild Game of Thrones look the best.
