It had to end eventually. Yes, the long-fabled Irish summer heatwave looks like it will be coming to an end sooner rather than later. Weather forecasts suggest that we're due for a spot of rain by Tuesday at the latest.
But, hey, we all got a tan of some description, didn't we? Did you sneak out to the park during your lunch break to try get some kind of Vitamin D? If you haven't, best get yourself in gear because cloud cover is expected for the remainder of the week.
That said, Met Eireann does possibly think there may be a slight improvement by Friday. Just in time for the weekend, hopefully.
