He's been on tour for 16 months, playing to seas of people. It's not surprising he needs some time out.

Taking to his Instagram shortly after his last gig date on December 12th in New Zealand, the 24-year-old said: "I'm taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while. I've had such an amazing ride over the last 5 years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so I'm taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed."

Then he let his friends and family he was "buggering off" for a while, adding: "To my friends and family, if you love me you will understand me buggering off for a bit."

Lastly, he had this for his fans: "The 3rd album is on it's way and it's the best thing I have made thus far. See you next Autumn."
