Flybe and an actual bee. You couldn't make this up.
A Dublin-bound Flybe out of Southampton airport was forced to return to the ground shortly after takeoff on Saturday after a bee became "lodged in an outside instrument".
The BE384 had to abandon the journey after "suspected technical issue" shortly after takeoff, which turned out to be a bumblebee.
Well, that's not happened to me before. A bumble bee got stuck in the wind instrument thingie on #flyBe flight BE384. Yep, that FlyBEE.

A spokesperson for the company later confirmed the incident with a statement saying: "Flybe engineers discovered that a bee that had become lodged in an item of instrumentation on the outside of the aircraft."
Unbeelievable. (Sorry).
