There were dramatic scenes in Harold's Cross this afternoon as a Dublin Bus caught fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established, but judging by the pictures it seems that they were able to evacuate the vehicle as it became engulfed in flames.
There was a loud bang which alerted residents to the situation, and smoke and flames were pictured billowing from the bus within minutes.

Emergency services and the fire brigade have since shown up to deal with the situation, but the road has been closed to traffic as a result of the accident.
