There has been plenty of speculation in the press recently about Lorde's alleged new relationship with her friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff.
Antonoff, himself a musician formerly in the band fun. and who now plays under the name Bleachers, recently split with Lena Dunham after five years together.
The musical pair have been spotted together looking quite affectionate, most recently in Lorde's native Auckland - but now the Kiwi pop star has come straight out and denied that they are dating.
Following Antonoff's recent statement that he is 'not dating anyone', Lorde was taking part in a Instagram Live video chat with fans when she made the comments.
"Guys, no! Guys, never, no. Jack and I are not dating... for the last time. But I love him. He's awesome, but we're not dating. Please!" she said.
