As one of the most famous exports from Madeira in recent years, Cristiano Ronaldo was honoured there recently with a large statue of himself.
He looked pleased as punch to be present at the ceremony, as the statue was unveiled and his whole family was present. That may have been because the statue showed him at his absolute best, in particular in the...shall we say "nether regions".

Not that we're concentrating on that area or anything, but in all fairness there is a very noticeable bulge down there that is pretty difficult to ignore, in particular from certain angles.
Still, if we were getting a statue of ourselves made, we'd probably insist that it be fairly flattering too. Fair play to him we say.
