You've heard of the 'Strictly' curse, where happy couples break up after appearing on the show.

One couple who met on the dancefloor, however, have officially become husband and wife.

'Countdown' star Rachel Riley was paired with Russian dancer Pasha Kovalev when she appeared on 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2013. The pair went public with their relationship in 2014.

Now, they have tied the knot in a secret Las Vegas ceremony, no less - just weeks after Riley announcing that she was pregnant with their first child.

The TV star confirmed the news with a post on her social media accounts, declaring: "Introducing the new Mr and Mrs Kovalev ? We both said yes! ???????????"

Congratulations have been pouring in for the newlyweds, including from Riley's '8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown' co-star Russell Kane, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, comedian Sarah Millican and more.

Riley is due to give birth in December.
