Although everyone's talking about Conor McGregor's thirteen-second victory over Jose Aldo, numbers are being crunched and tallied to see how much the undisputed Featherweight Champion made from the fight.

According to official sources, both fighters earned a cool $500,000 from simply stepping into the octagon with a $100,000 win bonus for Aldo if he had won. McGregor, however, won himself an extra $50,000 on top of that figure as well.

However, where the real money is in the PPV buys, which each fighter earns $1 over 100,000, rising to $3 over 500,000 sold. While the exact figures haven't been released yet, it's estimated that the fight comfortably cleared 500,000 buys. If we assume that the fight had AT LEAST 500,000 buys, then each fighter receives $1,500,000 on top of their fee.

These figures total $2,150,000 - however there's no telling how many sponsorship bonuses McGregor had lined up from his various corporate partners and backers. Furthermore, the victory and championship McGregor won will also net him far more sponsorships in the long-term.

Not bad for less than one minute in the ring.
