Speaking with Marie Claire magazine (she has a new single to promote), Cheryl Cole uttered a number of crowd pleasers - like that she dreams of marrying Prince Harry and that Louis Walsh is a rubbish manager.
Of Girls Aloud winning Popstars: The Rivals, and Louis' involvement, Cheryl said:
"Louis Walsh had come out publicly and said: ’They’re all fat. They all need to lose weight’. And the record label sent us all to have training … but we were just thinking they were doing us a favour at the time. We were so deluded... We worked like crazy in those days. We didn’t stop for breath...We never had management. Louis claimed to be our manager but he never did it. We didn’t talk to him or anything like that. He just took a cheque. Literally, we didn’t have management…"
Cole then went on to say Walsh had "zero involvement" with the management of Girls Aloud, saying: "Oh yeah, he took the cheques… I talk to him because now I get that business is business and that’s how he runs his but he never chose a hit. Who chose them? Us."
Despite this, Louis is the only judge Simon Cowell has confirmed for this year's X Factor (the usual reason). If Simon had his way (like he generally does), Cheryl would rejoin the panel so herself and Louis could chuck glasses of water over each other during the live shows 'cause it's all about them.
