Charlie Sheen's Family Fear For His Future. Allegedly.

Charlie Sheen's behaviour has become a cause for concern for his family. Really, when you think about it, the reasonable thing would've been to speak out when he threatened to kill his wife laaaast Chrissstmaaaass... but it's the incident involving a hooker's shredded Prada bag that's motivated "a source close to" the Sheen (but really Estevez) family to talk to the press. Yep, motivated by concern, not money.

"He thinks he's the guy who isn't going to OD. Either he will OD one day or someone else is going to get hurt because he gets so volatile. His attitude is, 'I'm hot right now. I have a ton of money and my (SH*TE) show is doing better than ever. I want to have fun.' But is he really having that much fun?... Once the show is over, who knows what will happen. The people around him now will drop him like a hot potato and won't care what happens to him."

Super, maybe then he might have some free time to spend with his two daughters. That mightn't be plausible, however, if he (finally) serves time for his latest indiscretion. As it happens, NYC police are seeking to speak with him and the mother of his children, Denise Richards, regarding the Plaza scenario. Why? Because Denise was across the hall: "Denise Richards' reps were contacted yesterday by New York City detectives, who say they want to speak with her about the events leading up to the wild incident at The Plaza Hotel... sources connected with the case tell TMZ. Richards was with Charlie Sheen hours before his hotel liaison with Capri Anderson. She was also across the hall from Charlie's room and went inside after the incident (awkward). And, we're told, Richards went inside the room and saw what could be evidence in the investigation. We're told Richards has given assurance she will 'fully cooperate'."

No doubt she will. Time heals all wounds - obtained by public mud-slinging. Yep, that was a time when Charlie could string a lucid sentence together. Now he's scribing such prostitute bound texts as "All I need is an Acct number etc and I will wire u 20k if u think that will cover everything... I really feel bad, u are as cool and sexy and as sweet and fun and friendly as they get! (sic)... Don't worry about our mutual friends, deal with me directly and I promise u kind lady, all will be restored and set straight"...
