Last Saturday, it emerged that Chadwick Boseman had sadly passed away.

Chadwick Boseman was best-known for playing T'Challa in Marvel movie 'Black Panther'.

The actor had been battling colon cancer privately for the past four years.

His family and team confirmed the news in a moving statement posted on Twitter.

It read: "A true fighter, Chadwick preserved through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much.

"From 'Marshall' to 'Da 5 Bloods', August Wilson's 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy."

The post has earned more than 7 million likes.

On Saturday it became the most liked tweet ever (The previous most-liked tweet was by Barack Obama, with 4.3 million).

Twitter announced: "Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. #WakandaForever."

Boseman is survived by his wife, Taylor Simone Ledward.
