We can safely file this under "WTF?"

'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' will always remain with us as the reason why we never got into the 'Twilight' franchise. Vampires are for killing, not for watching them fall in love.

Anyway, a clever Redditor has found a brand new Easter Egg hidden in the beloved series. That's right, 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' has an Irish connection - and one that's about Dublin Bus of all things.

Have a look at the screenshot below, if you don't believe us. It features a hefty paragraph, all As Gaeilge, paired together with some satanic symbols for good measure.

The Irish in an Episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a story about new bus lane opening in Dublin. from r/ireland

The discovery quickly made it's way onto Twitter too.

And the reaction, it goes without saying, has been off-the-wall hilarious.

It seems the episode aired in 1999, and was entitled 'Fear, Itself.' If true, it was the fourth episode of season four of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer.'

And so, the jokes started rolling in.

We'll never forget that time Angel gifts Buffy a Claddagh Ring (complete with terrible pronunciation).
