Since news of his diagnosis with dementia broke last month, Bruce Willis's family have understandably been fiercely protective of him and his privacy.
His wife Emma posted a message to fans and paparazzi last month, asking people not to call his name or shout at him when they see him in public.
The retired actor was first diagnosed with 'aphasia', revealed by his family in March 2022, but in recent weeks they have told fans that the disease has progressed and Willis now has frontotemporal dementia - and that "challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease".
However, his ex-wife Demi Moore posted a sweet video of Willis and his family on Instagram yesterday, to mark his 68th birthday.
She wrote: "Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them."
His wife Emma Heming Willis also posted a tribute to him on Instagram.
