Brad Pitt sat down and talked to Esquire magazine about all things in the life of Brad and gave some serious revelations about what he was up to in his Jennifer Aniston years and how he's not doing sex scenes anymore out of respect to Angelina Jolie, and says he hasn't 'known life to be any happier'.
Promoting his upcoming zombie flick 'World War Z', Pitt offers a refreshing level of frankness about his life, especially about his life before and since he met Jolie. On his time before her, he said he felt like a failure because he didn't graduate college because he was two credits short, and opened up about drug abuse during his marriage to Aniston.
'For a long time I thought I did too much damage — drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. I spent years fucking off. But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscious change. This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany — a decision not to squander my opportunities. It was a feeling of get up. Because otherwise, what's the point?'
Pitt also talked about his now giant brood of kids with Jolie, and how he loves the 'chaos' of it all. 'I always thought if I wanted to do a family, I wanted to do it big. I wanted there to be chaos in the house. There’s constant chatter in our house, whether it’s giggling, screaming, crying or banging . . . I love it. I hate it when they’re gone. Maybe it's nice to be in a hotel room for a day - 'Oh, nice, I can finally read a paper.' But then, by the next day, I miss that cacophony, all that life.'
His friend Frank Pollaro is also quoted in the article talking about how mad Brangelina are about each other, saying 'This is a guy who has tried not to do any sexy scenes with other women since he's met Angelina. He's crazy about her, and she's the same way about him.'
