Pitt has been moved to clarify comments he made that (more than) appeared to suggest that his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was - how would yousaaayboring. The 47-year-old actor gave a rare, candid interview about his private life to Parade magazine, in which he gushed about his love for Angelina. He said he is finally a 'satisfied man' and saying of his marriage to Jen, "It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't." Eeeeeeeep.
But his rep contacted E! Online to say that his comments have been "misunderstood", and that he was criticising himself, not Jen. "It grieves me that this was interpreted this way," he said in a statement. "Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself, and that I am responsible for."
Yeeeah, that's still not a ringing endorsement for married life with Jennifer Aniston.
