It's become more and more common for US brands to tap into movies for inspiration for their big advertising campaigns.
For example, Matthew Broderick channeled Ferris Bueller a couple of years back from a Super Bowl commercial for Honda. This time around, however, it's Bill Murray going back to 'Groundhog Day' for Jeep.
The commercial, which will air during the big game, sees Murray back as Phil Conners in Punxsutawney, seeing the likes of Ned Ryerson and Phil the Groundhog, before he decides to ditch them all and steal a Jeep Gladiator.
You've even got Brian Doyle Murray in there as the Grand Marshal, not to mention Bill Murray playing whack-a-mole in reference to 'Caddyshack'.
Take a look.
