Although Bill Cosby avoided going to jail following the collapse of Andrea Constand's trial, it looks like the comedian's problems are far from over.
It's been reported that the head of Cosby's legal defence team, Brian J. Mc,onagle, is attempting to remove himself from the trial and end his representation of Cosby. McMonagle led the defense team on the original trial and gave the opening and closing statements, which ultimately ended in a deadlocked jury after 52 hours of deliberations.
The original trial was brought by Andrea Constand, who has accused the 80-year-old comedian of drugging and raping her in 2004 at his home in Pennsylvania. Over fifty women came forward with accusations against Cosby, with some allegations going back to the '70s.
The retrial is set to begin on November 6th of this year.
