Ever wanted to capture that 'new car smell' for yourself and bottle it up?

Well Bentley haven't done that, they've actually made a proper cologne and you're going to have to keep dreaming about the new car smell thing. This is another in their installment of high end fragrances that they started releasing in 2013, and according to Fashion Beans you can pick out notes of pink peppercorns, "sandalwood and atlas cedar, on top of an ambergris, oud and moss base".

They also make perfumes, and have other fragrances available for men like 'Intense', but this latest one is an exclusive for Harrods where it will retail at about £110 (€135). The idea behind the range is to "meet the wishes of smart, elegant, status-conscious men", but we're not sure that too many people want the folks who make their cars to also make their cologne. However, Michel Almairac is the man who has been brought in to oversee the creation of this release, having worked with other car brands including Porsche and Mercedes, as well as more familiar names like Gucci and Burberry.

Call us something of a purist, but when it comes to scent, we prefer to leave it to the brands that we know, and other brands dabbling in is just plain weird. It's the same way we don't like fashion houses and clothing brands making watches, something just feels off.
