Anyone who has ever gone through a bad break-up will understand why we’re so excited about this.

Ben and Jerry’s are teaming up with a brewery in Colorado, New Belgium Brewery, to make an ice cream inspired beverage.

They’ve decided to go with a "salted caramel brownie" flavour for their brown ale. We were apprehensive at first too, then quickly realised we love all things Ben and Jerry’s related, so why should this be any different?

The beer is set to be 6.3% ABV, and available in 22 ounce bottles. See how we said ounce there? That’s because there’s been no word on whether it’s going to come to Europe, or more specifically, to my local supermarket, which is a shame.

Saying that, if we protest hard enough, we might be able to force them to give us a few crates, or make us beer flavoured ice-cream. Actually, screw all of that, where is our alcoholic ice-cream? We’ve waited long enough!
