Baby news this morning, and it's a bouncing baby boy on the way for Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato.
The Bublés, who married two years ago this month, only got the news yesterday when they went for a sonogram and found out they should be expecting a son come August. 'We are so excited. We have just come from the hospital, and the sonogram was pretty clear, it's a boy! We are thrilled.' Michael told the New York Post, presumably after friends and family but I suppose there's no easier way of spreading news than telling the press.
The couple are now thinking of a list of names for their impending new arrival, but the 37-year-old singer insists the baby won't be named after the new pope, Pope Francis I - who, like Luisana, hails from Argentina - even though the couple saw doctors shortly after he was announced as head of the Catholic church.
Michael said: 'She said, 'It is a sign!' But there's no way we are going to call him Frank, even if it did work well for Frank Sinatra.'
There'll be plenty of arguing over names to come, even before they had the ultrasound test the Canadian star admitted he has been turning down several of his 25-year-old wife's name suggestions. 'She will come to me and say: 'I think Dirt is a good name.' And I will say: 'Babe, Dirt in English is not as pretty as it is in Spanish.' ' Always wisecracking that Mikey Bubbles eh? Just stay away from the 'B' names lads, Barry/Brian/Ben Bublé is not the alliteration you should be gunning for.
