Bri Dredge, a teacher in Ballarat, Australia, won the tidy sum on Millionaire Hot Seat, a TV show on local television. However, instead of pocketing the money for herself, Dredge decided to buy each and every student in her school a new pair of shoes.
Why? To cope with Ballarat's exceptionally difficult winters and to repay her students' kindness.
"The look on their faces was worth all the money I won," Dredge explained.
