Scherzinger, who's also in the midst of hawking her new single, is "reportedly" finding comfort following her split from Lewis Hamilton in the arms of fellow X Factor star Steve Jones. As you might recall, the 36-year-old former Pussycat Doll was originally hired as Steve's co-host on the show before being promoted to a judging role following Cheryl Cole's departure.
A source told The Mirror that things are hotting up rapidly between the pair. "The nerves and the stress of the first few weeks definitely brought them closer together. Steve's now got his own apartment (complete with rotating bed, mirrored ceiling, smoke machine), which Nicole's been over to, and they seem to be virtually inseparable at the moment... There has been talk of Steve getting a high-profile girlfriend as publicity for the show. It'll be great for ratings."
