Armie Hammer is getting shredded on Twitter for his comments about people's tributes to Stan Lee.
Lee passed away yesterday at the age of 95. Since then, stars and fans alike have taken to social media to pay tribute.
However, Hamme is unhappy with a certain form of these tributes.
The 'Call Me By Your Name' star sarcastically tweeted: "So touched by all of the celebrities posting pictures of themselves with Stan Lee... no better way to commemorate an absolute legend than putting up a picture of yourself."

Consequently, Tweeters have not been happy with him. Since, the actor has probably made matters worse.
Me.... too...?

If your answer is “post a selfie” then I think we need a cultural revamp across the board.

Everyone greives differently; he obviously believes that posting a pic of his work would be better BUT also posting a pic with him is harmless. Ppl are remembering the enjoyable moments they were able to have with him while he was still alive.

If Stan impacted your life (ie. All of our lives) with his work, post his work that touched you the most. Posting a selfie makes his death about you and how cool you felt taking a picture with him.

Maybe meeting him was the moment that touched them most ???
It's an honor when you're finally able to meet someone that you've always looked up to.— Noelle ? ?? (@WakandanBucky) November 12, 2018
also not to mention how contradicting this tweet is. you’re doing even worse than what you’re stating by making a legend and his passing about something so materialistic and unnecessary? there’s nothing wrong with people remembering him in their own way....

i adore you armie and always live for what you have to say but this is just not needed

Aaaaaaaand just by telling people how to grieve, you've made this wonderful man's passing, all about you. I'm a fan of yours 100%, but this was just not right. Also some of those "celebrities" are your friends. And human beings. pic.twitter.com/FVzblhTWwK
