If you love Call Me By Your Name, you’ll love hearing about this (and maybe just feel a tad jealous that you weren’t in Italy at the time).
The stars of the film Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer got to take their movie back to where it all began when earlier in the week, along with director Luca Guadagnino, they hosted a screening in Crema, Italy, the city where the movie was filmed. Hammer invited local fans via Twitter to join them for a post-show gathering in the town square at midnight.

The evening started out much quieter than expected…
We came all the way to Crema for this screening and no one showed up.....
On a serious note: thank you to all the people who came from so far to enjoy the closing of this Call Me By Your Name circle. pic.twitter.com/XCtEucPOQm

… but fortunately it was a happy ending for all when a crowd of fans showed up in the centro to meet and dance with the actors in the streets, recreating one of Call Me By Your Name’s most beloved scenes. It was truly a sight to see.

Hammer thanked fans on Twitter while Chalamet posted a photo of a very tired Guadagnino resting after a long night of dancing in the square.
Just when I thought the Call Me By Your Name experience couldn’t get any better, all of you who came tonight to see the film and celebrate this movie with us from all over the world proved me wrong.... thank you from the bottom of my heart.
