It's no surprise that Anne Hathaway managed to keep the birth of her first son quiet considering she kept her entire pregnancy on the down low. If it wasn't for her mouthy brother, and a bikini shot that would've been leaked by the paps, possibly no one would've ever known she was pregnant in the first place.
E! News was the first to report the story that the actress gave birth to her first child with husband Adam Shulman on March 24th. The report also divulges the baby's name - Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. A source speaking with the outlet said: "The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A.. Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents."
On January 4th, Hathaway posted this shot to Instagram, captioned: "So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me," she captioned the beach shot. "But just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :)"

Speaking of her dream to become a mother, the 33-year-old Oscar winner said this in an interview with the Telegraph back in 2012: "I’m 30 and I want to have a family of a certain size. Look, I’ll start with one healthy kid but I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I’d like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special. I’ve had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby."
Shulman got engaged to Hathaway in November 2011 after three years of dating. They married in September of the following year in Big Sur, California.
