Amazon promised big deals and massive savings in their prime day sales, but it seems that the internet was a little bit disappointed in some of the products on offer.
While many deals failed to enthuse the general public, there was one offer that got a lot of attention, as Amazon cut the price of a tub of lube pretty significantly. The 55 gallon (208 litre) tub of Passion Lubes' natural water-based lubricant had been reduced from $2500 to $1,361.80, which is a pretty good reduction in fairness. Also it had free shipping, which is another saving.
That said, we don't know of too many people who need that much lube, and given that the other deals weren't up to much, the internet decided to focus in on this particular offer as typifying just how disappointing Prime Day was.
So is there anything good on amazon or is it just that drum of lube.

Plenty of people also went on to the lube's product page and left some "helpful" reviews.

On a related note, while we know Amazon's "customers also bought" feature has been hugely successful, the algorithm was either seriously struggling for this product, or we never want to meet the customers who opted for this combo.
