Amanda Bynes has been checked into rehab in Los Angeles.
The former child actor / singer made a number of serious allegations against her father on Twitter, which she later recanted and deleted.
Bynes tweeted yesterday, "The microchip in my brain made me say those things, but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me".
The 28-year old has checked into rehab by her mother and will be held there for up to 72 hours.
Bynes was arrested last month for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and violated her probation.
She's expected in court next week to face charges.
