Justin Timberlake stopped his media tour to meet a sick fan this week, proving that while he may be a mega celeb, he's also an absolute sounder and all round ledge.
JT was being rushed through a building in New York City yesterday for his appearance on live radio, but after meeting Tina DiLascio, who told him her 13-year-old daughter Giana underwent major brain surgery last year to repair a blockage, he delayed his interview to greet the brave youngster. Timberlake asked Tina if he could see Giana - who is a make-a-wish child - before waiting patiently for several minutes while she rushed off to get her daughter, who was among the adoring fans outside the building.
Tina told TMZ that 'Giana and Justin chatted for several minutes. JT asked if she watched the VMAs and she lit up, telling Justin, he's 'The next Michael Jackson,' to which JT bowed his head and said, 'Thank you.' The pair had a photo together before he hugged the brave teen and dashed off to his interview.
The singer returned to music this year after taking a hiatus to focus on his acting career and his comeback was crowned with a spectacular evening at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Brooklyn, New York City, on Sunday night (25.08.13) at which he took home four prizes, including the Video of the Year prize for 'Mirrors' and the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, which recognised his career achievements.
