Not content with making the ball that's going to be used in the World Cup, adidas have continued to innovate and have come up with a football that's packed full of technology.
Whether you play five-a-side once a week or you spend your time counting down the days until your Sunday morning match, you always want to be able to train harder and train smarter so that you can get better. The folks at adidas clearly understand that impulse, and they have come up with a football that can give you almost instant feedback on what you did right and what you did wrong when you kick it.

According to the website, once you kick the ball you can see your results thanks to the miCoach sensor. You'll get information on speed, spin, trajectory and strike point, so you can "learn from every kick".
The app on your phone provides you with hints and tips too, so that you know where you need to strike the ball next time, and a few words of advice from the 'coach', who will be able to sort out the most common of errors. As they say themselves, in your average 90 minute game, a single player is in possession of the ball for 90 seconds, so you'd better make them count.
However, you'll also need to count your pennies, as the ball itself should set you back €299 on the adidas store. Not one for your average kickabout with the lads, then.
