Why have a nativity scene, when naturally the alternative is to have a festive dragon display?
It may sound like the plot of a Christmas movie, but Twitter user Diana Rowland has done just that.
Rowland has shared a letter from a thoroughly peeved-off neighbour regarding her dragon display on her front garden. It reads:
"Your dragon display is only marginally acceptable at Halloween.
It is totally inappropriate at Christmas.
It makes your neighbours wonder if you are involved in a demonic cult.
Please consider removing the dragons.
May God bless you and help you to know the true meaning of Christmas."
Our dragon holiday display got fan mail! (And apparently the "true meaning of Christmas" involves judgmental bullshit?) ? pic.twitter.com/7NLZKkEW2x

Rowland also commented, "I'm also rather baffled as to how the dragons are only marginally acceptable at Halloween. I guess they think I need MORE dragons??"

Rowland shared her "fan mail" on Twitter, and her dragon display story has been a roaring success.
I’m an Anglican priest and will be spending Christmas preaching about Jesus and the Nativity...and even I would be tempted to just order more dragons and write a one word response: pic.twitter.com/liRuUCUu9n

I think the problem your neighbor has with the display is that you have three wise dragons, but no baby Jesus dragon, or Mary and Joseph dragons. It is an incomplete dragon nativity.

This calls for more dragons

And more dragons is just what Rowland has done.
I literally just ordered another one for pickup tomorrow.

The dragon-enthusiast posted an update a day later, with two more dragons joining in on the action on her front garden. Rowland said, "An update to yesterday's tweet re the letter I received from an anonymous, judgy-mcjudgyface neighbour who disapproved of my dragon display and asked me to consider removing them: I have added more dragons."

The dragon situation has all ended rather happily, however.
Since she has garnered attention online, Rowland is urging her fellow dragon-enthusiasts to not donate money to her for "MORE DRAGONS", but to give money to charity instead. She told her followers to "make this holiday season about joy and charity for all."
Hi, everyone! I've been getting a lot of messages about fundraisers/collections to buy me MORE DRAGONS, but I would much rather any Dragon Army money be donated to a worthy charity of your choice. Let's make this holiday season about joy and charity for all. Thanks!!

You see, one snooty neighbour can make the true meaning of Christmas apparent.
