Warning, you're about to feel real life feelings, possibly evens feels. Maybe all of them, we're not sure.

Last week a 95-year-old man called Bill phoned up Southampton's BBC Radio Solent mid-morning show, presented by Alex Dyke, because he felt "so alone".

Bill, who listens to the show everyday, just married his wife Sheila in June 2014, which proves it's never too late for anyone. Bill and Sheila had been friends for 30 years, and when her original husband died, Bill took over as her carer. The relationship developed, and eventually the pair decided to tie the knot.

Unfortunately, not long after the took their vows, Sheila had a fall which led to her being moved full-time to a hospital, where she currently battles dementia and colitis.

Despite visiting her everyday, Bill still felt incredibly lonely, which eventually led to the phone call to the station. His story resonated with those in the station so much that they invited him in for a coffee. Delighted with the prospect, Bill accepted their offer and the station sent round a taxi to collect him.

They even let Bill on the air, where he discussed his story and talked about Sheila. After posting the video below on their Facebook page, the station found a number of listeners had been touched, so much so that one even offered Bill a place at the table for Christmas dinner.

Now, have a look at the video if you feel like having a good auld cry.
