Last night's exit poll showed a three-way split between Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael, and Sinn Féin with 22% and a couple of decimal points between them.
Obviously, being that it's an exit poll and not a true indication of how people actually vote, today's count is where the real fun happens. For now, however, a lot of people last night were equally surprised and frustrated by the results.
For one, there's still no telling what make-up the next government will be with results like that. Second, it's entirely possible that there could even be another election if neither party is willing or able to form a government. And third, Sinn Féin's surge in support really did catch everyone off guard.
So, on to the tweets.
