With award show season on pause for the time being, it's time to look back at some of the most memorable moments from award shows gone by

Adele broke her Album of the Year award on stage during The 59th GRAMMY Awards. She took the opportunity to speak of her favourite artist Beyoncé, saying “I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very humbled, and I’m very grateful and gracious, but the artist of my life is Beyoncé.” Rumour has it that Adele broke the award in two to share the honour with Beyoncé, now that's friendship!
