Yev was born and raised in Belarus. He moved to the US when he was 12 years old. After graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia he moved to Los Angeles where he worked extensibly in the Grip & Electric and Camera Departments of hundreds of productions including short films, features, music videos, commercials, and web series.
