YuKi Aizawa

Prior to studying editing at AFI, Yuki worked as a sound recorder and interviewer for the Peabody award-winning national oral history project, StoryCorps, where she traveled extensively throughout the U.S. collecting audio interviews of everyday Americans. Since moving to LA from her native New York she has edited several feature and short narratives, documentaries, and music videos.

Her recent film, 7 HEAVEN LOVE WAYS, premiers this summer at FLOW Music and Arts Festival in Helsinki. She has a BA in comparative literature with French and Japanese from Columbia University, and an MFA in creative nonfiction from The New School.
