Yu Yu Yang

Yu Yu received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Motion Picture from National Taiwan University of Arts in 2006, and won several scholarships during her stay. She wrote/directed/edited a short film ALL ABOUT PETER, which won the NTUA-MPD Silent Short Film, Best Film Award of 2003.

Besides being a filmmaker, Yu Yu is also an experienced actor for stage, short films and commercial performance. She was one of only two selected into Godot Theatre Company’’s advanced training program in 2001, one of the biggest theatre companies in Taiwan. As a producer, she has produced several short films, a thesis film, music videos and commercials back in Taiwan. During her first year at AFI, she produced three short films, including THE CENTRE CANNOT HOLD, ANYTHING GOES, and KEEP A PART.
