Yorgos Bolanos

Yorgos earned a BFA in 1995 from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in Boston and went on to earn his MA as well. His degree is based on interdisciplinary study concentrating in film, video and photography. He attended The International Film Workshops, Rockport, Maine. He directed, produced and photographed NEEDLE EXCHANGE, a 16mm documentary. He was DP on VIVA LA PLASTICO, a 16mm short narrative; cameraman on ROPEWALK, a documentary shot on Beta SP; 1st AC on MESS UP, a public service announcement for Drug Free America shot on 16mm; 1st AC on THE REVOLUTION OF SILENCE, a 35mm documentary; and AC on KINO, 35mm TV commercials. He has also participated in numerous photo/film exhibitions.
