Yair Halper
Originally from Jerusalem, Israel, Yair worked in the Israeli film industry as a Cinematographer and a Union First AC. He has shot over a dozen short films and worked with some of the most critically acclaimed directors and cinematographers in Israel such as Avishai Sivan, Shai Goldman and Asaf Sudri among many others. His work has been featured in numerous Festivals around the world and have won a number of prizes. In 2012, his film WASHED won “Best Experimental Film” at the Kratkofil Plus and “Best Short” at the EPOS International Art Film Festival in Tel Aviv, Israel. In 2013, MORNING won the Jury Prize at the Montreal World Film Festival in Canada.Yair recently moved to Los Angeles where he is currently pursuing an MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute.
