Xiaolin Yu

XiaoLin was born and raised in QingDao, China. She was a professional dancer for over 18 years, with the Qingdao Dance Company, where she earned numerous awards and distinctions as one of the lead dancers in the Shandong Province. At an early age she started a dance company and a well-known entertainment production business in QingDao that performed across China. Consequent­ly. she was invited on a full scholarship to attend New York's Joffrey Ballet School for pro­fessional ballet and modern dance. After Joffrey, Xiaolin studied at Temple University, graduating with a B.A. in Broadcasting, Telecommunications & Mass Media. During her time at Temple Univer­sity she produced and distributed the Chinese version of the critically acclaimed experimental film, SPACE TIMES SQUARE. XiaoLin recently gradu­ated from the American Film Institute with an M. F. A. in Producing and has produced numerous short films. She currently works at BigFoot En­tertainment, as the President of China division of International distribution and marketing.
