Wyatt Maw

Wyatt is an award winning filmmaker and photographer based in LA and Montana. His AFI thesis film, RISE, played in festivals across the globe and was a semi-finalist for the Student Academy Awards. He counts among his major influences Abbas Kiarostami, Ermanno Olmi and Les Blank. Since 2015, he has spent considerable time in Southeast Montana developing a series of feature length films about the modern day American West seen through the eyes of children. The first of these films, ASHLAND, is currently in post-production with support from Film Independent and the Big Sky Film Grant.
