William H. Adashek
Will Adashek is a cinematographer, lighting designer, and producer based in Los Angeles. Before shooting Santa Ana Winds, he completed the short film The Hill, shot on location in rural Ohio, in addition to the shorts A Temporary Matter, In Exile and The Birthday Present at the American Film Institute.
Will has designed the lighting for more than 150 theater and dance shows, including more than 30 outside of the United States. Recent theatrical lighting projects include Measure for Measure, As You Like It, Yellowman, Working, One Flea Spare, The Food Chain, Metamorphoses, The Mercy Seat, and The Memory of Water. Recent musicals include Pippin, Into The Woods, the European premieres of Rise Up and Anyone But Me, and the world premiere of Banyan for the AATC in San Francisco.
Will holds a B.A. in economics and theater from Kenyon College and an M.F.A. in cinematography from the American Film Institute.
