Vanat Sermpol

After receiving a BS in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin, Vanat worked on various projects in the local Austin area ranging from documentaries (Shamans of Siquijor) to independent films (Kyle Henry's Room).

Soon after, Vanat packed up and traveled to England and Thailand, where he extended his editing prowess on short films, like Wings of Blue Angels, Io Fumo (I Smoke) and 4KM, which have gone on to international festivals in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Israel and Korea. 

During his time at the American Film Institute Conservatory, Vanat interned at Focus Features and for the pilot episode of The Defenders for CBS Television.  Vanat has also worked on Project Runway Season 7 and Top Chef Season 8.
