Valentina Martinico

Valentina graduated from the Universitá Cattolica in Milan, Italy, with a BA in Media Studies (concentration in Motion Picture, Theater and Cultural Events). She also attended the Second Year of both Digital Cinematography and Directing at the Instituto del Cine in Madrid, Spain. There she collaborated as DP, gaffer, 1AC and lighting designer in short films, local commercials and theatrical performances. From 2008 to 2012 she worked in Puerto Rico in lighting and camera, also adding professional experience working as a Producer and 1st AD. Since 2012 she is one of the skillful and creative cinematographers of the AFI Conservatory legacy
