Tom Cooper

Originally from Clarksdale, Mississippi, Tom Cooper attended Lee Academy and was voted "Most Talented" of the Senior Superlatives in 1993. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in the fall of 1997 with a BA in Cinema and a minor in Psychology. Tom was chosen to sit on the SMU Program Council’’s Film Committee for a semester. While at SMU, he wrote a short screenplay that was a finalist in the Student Film Associations screenplay contest. In 1996, Tom wrote his first feature-length script entitled DIMENSIONS. He has also done volunteer work for a Public Relations company in Dallas that promotes films for studios, including MGM and Tri-Star.
