Theoline Maphutha

Theoline describes herself as, "a writer who has travelled very far away from home -- not to escape, but to find the perspective and the words to describe what has happened, over years, to that home, my family, and me -- and then to tell stories, not just about the place I left, but about the dreams and struggles common to all people, no matter where they were born. She’’e the former Chairperson of the Writers Guild of South Africa and a recent MFA Screenwriting graduate from the American Film Institute Conservatory.
