After studying Screenwriting at AFI (class of 1991), Susannah Grant wrote the screenplay for POCAHONTAS (1995). She also wrote the screenplay for EVER AFTER (1998), an updated Cinderella story. Continuing her talent for writing women’’s stories, Grant completed 28 DAYS (2000), a study of a woman’’s struggle with alcoholism. Her unqalified hit, ERIN BROCKOVICH (2000), is currently nominated for a Best Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen Academy Award and a WGA Screen Award. Riveting audiences to the true story of a tenacious woman who made a utilities corporation pay for poisoning a small town, Grant was able to craft a complex, sexy and courageous woman rarely seen in blockbuster films.
