Steven James Rice

Over the last 10 years, Steven James Rice has built an extensive portfolio working in commercials, music videos, industrials and feature films. Skilled in areas ranging from carpentry to music composition, he is best known for his work as Art Director on feature films such as RED ROCK WEST and SUTURE.

Steve's desire to entertain and educate has propelled him into directing, where he can express his ideas through passionate storytelling. He has directed seven short films, including an adaptation of Charles Bukowski's short story, Death of the Father I. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he currently creates glass and metal sculpture in his downtown studio. Steve studied business and marketing at several universities.
