Steven Gregory Alan Crawford

Steven hails from Alice Springs, Australia (aka The Outback), and spend most of his childhood on a cattle ranch. It wasn’’t until a friend made him watch the entire series of Joss Whedon’’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer in high school that he realised he needed to be storyteller. He eventually relocated to Melbourne where he earned a BA with majors in Criminology, and Screen Studies from the University of Melbourne.

During this time, he was a member of the National Association of Australian University Colleges, where he helmed the promotional videos for the organization and saw him present at national conferences on subjects like ‘sex, gender, and sexuality’’, ‘employability for college students’’, and ‘identity in college’’. Steven decided not to go to Law School and instead, moved to LA to pursue his passion for filmmaking. He is currently completing his MFA in Producing at the AFI Conservatory.
